Our charcoal & clay mask is suitable for those with oily & blemish prone skin. It can be used on your entire face if your skin is oily or it can be used as a spot treatment on dry skin by applying to affected areas only. It was created with the superhero powers of activated charcoal and bentonite clay that cleanse your face & decongest the pores.

Ingredients: Bentonite Clay, White Kaolin Clay, Honey Powder, & Activated Charcoal

Directions:

Mix 1 part mask mixture with 1-2 parts water. You can use more mask mixture for a thicker mask, however we suggest keeping it thinner and building it on your face as you apply it.

For best results:

Wash your face first, this will help you to get the full benefits of the mask and ensure you don't seal or trap in dirt and makeup. Steam your face to open the pores. Pour boiling water into a large bowl and stand near it. Drape a large towel around your head to trap the rising steam. Another method to open the pores is by soaking a washcloth in warm water and putting it directly on the face and letting it is there until it begin to cool (about 30 seconds). Mix the mask powder with liquid DO NOT USE METAL it will react with the clay and you will not get the full benefits of your mask. You can add more or less liquid depending on your preference. I prefer and more watery mask in which I apply coats until I am happy with the coverage. Apply with a clean mask brush, a cosmetic brush, or your fingers. Once applied wait about 10 minutes. You do not want it to completely harden. At the point there is just a little tackiness to it, rinse it off. You can wash it off with warm water or reheat your cloth and apply it to your face to do a quick steam to loosen it and gently rub off. Steam once more with a clean cloth to be sure your pores are nice and clean. Splash with cool water to close the pores. Spray your favorite Akenehi toner on a cotton pad and gently wipe on your face to ensure you have removed all traces of the mask. Follow with your favorite serum, treatment, &/or moisturizer.

Container may not look full. We fill these by weight and the powder does settle during transit.

Warning: Avoid eye contact. Test of a small area of skin before using. If irritation occurs, discontinue use.
